Setting: Los Angeles somewhere...
Characters:
Kim: The Girl.
Carrie Bradshaw: Something fluffy. Maybe bichon and poodle... Probably six.
Nina: Definitely jack russell. Definitely sixteen.
Carrie: (in awe) You mean you self published your own book?
Kim: Yes. It's now out on Kindle.
Carrie Bradshaw: What's it about? Are there castles and fairies and fluffy dogs?
Kim: No castles or fairies. It's a hyper- autobiography. Based on a true story. Memoirs if you will.
Carrie Bradshaw: (sits with expectant look on her fuzzy face) Are WE in the book?
Kim: (smiles) Of course.
Nina: (ambling off) ....shameless plug... (stops; ears perked) Wait- when you say "WE," does that include me too?
Kim: Of course. You two are a very important part of my life. (affectionately amused) How could I write a book about my life and not mention my little jack russell who has seashores...?
Carrie Bradshaw: Do you mean seizures?
Nina: I am mortified. (toddles off)
Carrie Bradshaw: (stars in her eyes) I have a book.... (immediately interested and focused) What's it called?
Kim: "How To Assemble a Chicken."
Nina: (agitated) ARE YOU SERIOUS??!
Kim: Here's the link...http://www.amazon.com/How-To-Assemble-Chicken-ebook/dp/B00COG8H1C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1367969870&sr=8-1&keywords=How+to+assemble+a+chicken
Nina: (muttering disdainfully, pacing) ...How to assemble a chicken... of all the... fluffy poodle thing... Girl... SPLAT!
Carrie Bradshaw: (wags tail) Will there be a sequel?
Nina: DON"T give the Girl any ideas!
Fade as the Girl shamelessly plugs her book, Carrie Bradshaw rests had on computer and watches, and Nina paces muttering....

*Please refer to the introduction post in this blog for explanation and inspiration behind this blog. Basically, as Nina gets older, she develops various medical problems; the more carefully I listen to what she tries to tell me, the more I can explain to the vet what is happening. And Carrie Bradshaw simply goes by her full name. (But this particular entry IS all about the shameless plug.)
