Black Friday PC wisdom w/Dogs

Setting: L.A.
Characters:
Kim: Black Friday Veteran.
Nina: Has concerns.
Carrie Bradshaw: Has concerns.


Carrie Bradshaw: (sits; irritated) Alright. Spill it. Where are we going for Black Friday THIS year, and what gawd-awful hour are we getting there?

Nina: (trembling) Oh for crying out loud. Is it THAT time of year again?

Carrie Bradshaw: (starts to pace a bit...to Nina) Look at her. Perusing the ads online. I am humiliated.

Nina: (to Kim) Remember to bring my sweater. It's been getting cold at night.

Kim: I've been thinking...

Carrie Bradshaw: Uh-oh. Here it comes. (sits; to Nina) Don't we usually end up at Target or Walmart?

Nina: (hangs her head) Now THAT'S humiliating. 

Carrie Bradshaw: AND they've been in the news a lot lately.

Kim: (turns away from computer screen) In support of the Walmart Workers AND in support of the Target workers who have to work ON Thanksgiving...(pauses)

Carrie Bradshaw: Yes...?

Kim: I think we'll go to a store that pays fair wages, does NOT open on Thanksgiving, doesn't open till the actual morning AND is even a little PC.

Carrie Bradshaw: (blank furry expression) PC? A computer? You lost me.

Kim:  JC Penny. They are NOT open Thanksgiving. I think they treat their employees with dignity by paying them decent wages thus no one feels the need to strike, and JC Penny's employers will allow them to spend Thanksgiving with their families...They open at 6:00 a.m. THAT'S the kind of company I will support on Black Friday. (to 2 wagging tails) We will NOT be shopping at Target nor Walmart this holiday season,... in support of their workers. 

Carrie Bradshaw: (considering this) Ooh! Plus JC Penny's likes Ellen!

Nina: (ears perked) Always a plus in my book! 

*The two start to prance and play...

Kim: We will get up at 2am and be there by 3:00.

*Carrie and Nina freeze...

Carrie and Nina: (sputtering) Dammit!
